Went on 2nd date, we've been speaking for 3 months everyday. While walking next to him I accidentally touched his hand & he smiled & looked down. Why?

When I accidentally knocked his hand with my hand while walking I said sorry and he very slightly smiled then looked down and we were still walking
I know this is our second date but the reason why I apologised is because of covid

Anyway why did he smile softly and look down?

Because he was nervous/embarrassed, he did like it tho, I can almost guarantee it, if he looked down that could also be because he knew it was an accident and he wanted it to mean more :)
