Why are all guys at school staring at me?

So there are plenty of guys at my school who keep on staring at me. They never approach me though and it is weird. I get told that I am pretty by many people any age. Most guys approach me via social media and chat with me there but the same guys never talk to me in real life. Am I that intimidating or are they just not interested? I get told that I have unique characteristics and do not look like anyone else and that it is a really good trade. Also some guys are being mean to me at school for no reason even though I am trying to be polite with them. Some guys move away from me when I seat nearby. Girls also avoid me and talk to me only when they need something from me. I have few friends but they are great. Some girls stare at me with disgust and it weirds me out. There is also one guy at my school who I consider the most handsome face wise and body wise. I reached out to him online and told him that I would like to get to know him as a friend for now -as I noticed him staring every day and pointing his body towards me- but he told me that he doesn't see a point getting to know me for now and if there will be a chance we will get to know each other in a different situation. He also walks near me sometimes. When I walk past his company they stop talking for a second to look at me. I am so confused about why guys act so weirdly towards me.

We are talking teenagers here. Immature and generally stupid-acting. Ignore them, keep your head high, look straight forward and walk with a grin on your face. That displays self-confidence and they will never see it coming.

Thanks!! I mean I tried talking to one of the guys but he told me that he doesn't want to get to know me online.. This is kinda weird but ok. At school he stares and if i ignore him he gets a bit sad (from his expressions) I mean maybe I am doing something wrong?

I know what I am talking about. We women sense things that men don't and also I see where their eyes are directed and also I see with the corner of the eye that some guys turn their heads in my direction so... I am not conceited.

There is a huge difference between conceited and self confident. And why shouldn't i think this way? If it makes me feel better? Also I am not ugly duckling so that guys won't look my way! Sorry if i seem mean I just state some things I consider facts.

Also I dont think i am better than any other girl. I just observed some type of attention from guys and don't get why they only stare even if i heard some of them complementing me from afar in a group of guys they were looking in my direction and i looked around to see if there was another girl standing behind me... There wasn;t any girl so they were staring at me. This is it. I acted like I didn't hear them and continued walking... I don't know why though. I am a bit shy.

Certainly, guys notice and look at pretty girls and occasionally guys will do what you refer to as staring if they think you are not aware. However, that applies to all pretty girls and, if you are pretty, it includes you.

Guys notice pretty girls, whether or not they have the confidence to approach. By mid to late teens most guys have learned that girls out of their league are not going to be receptive to being approached. They will look and hope but they likely they will not approach since rejection is painful. Better to think you might be rejected than to approach and remove all doubt.

Yeah I agree with you. There are so many pretty girls out there. I think they just have other crushes on other girls and this is why they only stare at me and never approach. They just like the aesthetic of me and not me u know... That's what I concluded tbh. Because you can't be liked by EVERY guy every guy has a different type.

So I try to be sweet not too sweet you know. I dress casually jeans, cute t-shirts, sometimes chokers and style my hair differently. I am in High school:)
