My teacher looks at me (don’t have that teacher anymore). He knows I have crush on him. Does he hate me?

An English teacher I had last year constantly looks at me and I thought it was since he knows I have a crush on him. I thought he’ll just be shocked or something and it’ll stop. But not it continued and I’m wondering if it because he hates me. I asked many people and they don’t think so, so then why does he look at me? Since the school also knows plus the English head teacher I think, he doesn’t go down the stairs I sit anymore (I don’t know if that’ll help people answer my question). But he does go past my role call room (outside the staff room) to go to his classroom. At first I thought he didn’t know I would be in there so he accidentally looked, it just keeps happening even when I’m not looking at him. I can see if he looks at me through the gaps of my hair and the corner of my eye. His look isn’t mean or anything just neutral. Sometimes a tiny tiny smile but I think I’m just hallucinating since I still have that crush. Never act on my feelings though, the reason how he found out was because I got threatened to tell. All I know that he is a nice teacher but since I made things awkward I think he hates me. Even then wouldn’t he want to ignore me, for this case avoid eye contact / looking at me?

Yes he’s an English teacher, I’m not that good at English but I do try my best so if you don’t understand, please ask. I think the reasoning I have a crush because I got an A last year in his class and I got inspired to do better in school and to even make a novel.

Some of the other opinions are kind of gross. There isn't really a reason for him to hate you, and he most likely wouldn't be checking a student out. I had a really nice teacher who always seemed to make eye contact with everyone, I'm pretty sure he's just being a good teacher and paying attention to all his students. Either that or he's scum.

It's just that it I'm not his student anymore and I definitely think he does not check out on students that's for sure

I'd say just let him be, you're a good student so just focus on yourself and ignore him. It's best not to make assumptions and you sound like a good kid so I doubt anyone hates you.

so how did you dress when you knew you would be around him

School uniform (Australia). In a girl school so a skirt (just above the knees) and a shirt. Also a jacket around my waist

Not in that teacher's class anymore. The end of the school year is near the end of the normal year so I have other teachers. He only found out later on this year, I wasn't moved to another class though
