What did he mean by saying I’m not beautiful enough ?

“you’re beautiful but not beautiful enough to endure your torture “

can you guys tell me what he meant?

Barney Stinson from how I met your mother has what he calls the "Hot crazy Scale" and basically in this man's mind you are allowed to act a certain level of "crazy" based on how attractive you are and he determined you were acting crazier than your looks allow for. Which is absolutely terrible but I'm just relaying information

It's not about being smart vs looks. Smart and crazy aren't the same thing at all.

The idea is that someone is only willing to deal with so much animosity in a relationship and if you're more attractive to that person they're probably more willing to deal with it, but there's a breaking point no matter what you look like

It means that your beauty isn't worth your crappy personality. Ie being around you is torture, which your looks isn't worth suffering through.

Some people will tolerate more bullshit from hotter/highly attractive people. So he’s saying you’re pretty but not worth the bullshit or torture.


It’s common that hot/highly attractive people get away with things, excused by other people.
