Girls, how do you TRULY feel when a guy proves you wrong about something and in a respectful way?

there are guys who are too afraid to call a woman wrong and there are those who are not afraid but call them wrong in a demeaning or disrespectful way.

But how do you tend to feel when a guy IS respectful and proves you wrong intellectually about something?

I respect him back

I get embarrassed

I still get mad

It impresses me if he actually proves me wrong

I dont feel anything about it

I feel a different way (please say)

I just want to see results

Nobody, not men or women like to be proven wrong. It's a simple fact, doesn't matter how mature we are about it. You can win the argument but the person will feel defeated, will doubt themselves and you'll take their dignity.

But... girls are impressed by guys being smarter than them.

So how to go about it? Say something like "I understand where you're coming from because I also used to think this way... but recently I THINK its x/y/z because..."

Chances are you won't be able to make her admit to being wrong on that occasion but she will eventually understand it and respect you even more for the fact that you didn't need to make yourself seem like the smarter person by making her lose face. This of course applies to anybody, no matter if they're men or women.

So it depends - do you want to show her that you're right and she's wrong? Or do you actually want to educate her AND improve your relationship with her?

Oh I have np admitting when I am wrong, but a guy better come at me with researched facts and not just opinion or he is either going to be embarrassed or dismissed.

If he can show me actual data and move me off my position then yeah he will have definitely earned my respect and friendship.

Wrong answers that overconfident in been right normally come from those with big ego's who don't respond well to been told there wrong. Therefore most people i run into and prove them wrong they normally just get mad or ignore it. Don't really matter on there gender.
It's hard to find people who are accepting to been wrong.

I love when a man will engage in a respectful debate with me. It's super sexy to be proven wrong (in a respectful way) and concede. The reward is seeing that sideways smirk on the man's face when I have to admit he's right. My heart goes pitter patter even if I'm not attracted to him.

I think it's pretty cool. I'm usually the smart person in my friend group (as self-absorbed as that sounds, it's only surface level, i promise) so when people are right, it means they really know what they're on about. I don't think gender has anything to do with it.
