Just because a guy treats you different than other girls, does it mean he 100% has feelings for you?

For example: Complimenting a girl, being nice to her, being a gentleman for her and helping her even when she didn't ask you to, saying good things about her when she's not around

If a guy just treats you better than he treats friends he has who are also girls, does it necessarily mean he has feelings for the girl he treats "special"?

Some guys just choose to be nicer to some girls. it means nothing

Guys don't treat some girls better just cuz they feel like it. It means he likes her and wants to give her special treatment.

I voted A - but to be clear, there's a good chance it DOES mean something - it's just not an absolute.

Some guys do indeed treat certain girls better than average, but don't necessarily have romantic feelings for them - but I think that's the exception, rather than the rule.

What makes a guy randomly decide to be nicer to a girl? I know my crush thinks that I'm smart, artistic, somewhat athletic, and he told me he thinks I'm the nicest person ever but I don't know if it's the reasons why he is nicer to me. One time, I accidentally broke a mirror I had in my locker and he helped me pick up all the glass. All his friends were standing there and he was the only one who helped me. Why does he seem to be nicer to me?

Again, chances are that he likes you. BUT... while it's UNLIKELY, it IS possible that he just has a high level of respect for you as a person, and thus has decided (perhaps subconsciously) that you deserve to be treated better. After all, "he told me he thinks I'm the nicest person ever" so, it's possible that he just ranks you higher than most people and treats you accordingly.

Though, again, chances are, he likes you.

Not always. Sometimes guys just do that. I used to do it to this one girl just because she was really quiet and I felt like she needed a confidence boost and it made her smile most of the time.

So you just do it for girls who seem to be more shy? Cuz I am definitely shy but I don't know if it's the reason he is nicer to me. (read the description I gave MrOracle)

It's hard to say without knowing what kind of guy he is. Is he a really out going person or is he usually abit quiet himself? If he's willing to go so far for you then he may have a crush on you. I've the done the same things for a girl but I didn't mean anything by it. I don't really date though so I'm kinda an exception.

He's popular, athletic and good looking. But the catch is he is also super religious. So he doesn't hang with the popular crowd that swears, drinks, and party. He hangs with the good kids who care about sports and school. He's a nice guy in general, but I don't see him doing this stuff for other girls on a regular basis. maybe causally he throws them a compliment but that's all I see

There was a few times he went out for lunch with a girl that is close with his family but I don't know what to think

No problem. If you get more signs then you could always ask him or maybe ask someone else to ask. Just have someone ask him "Hey. Do you like (You)? I've noticed that you're pretty nice to her compared to most girls".

Its more you have earned their respect and less so much they have a thing for you. It though can develop to be a thing if you want it to be.

No. I treat plenty of people different than others because I just like them better. I'd say most of them are women.

My point is that there's no way to read his mind. You should try to find out from him. Like I said, I act like a totally different person around some people simply because I feel more comfortable around them, and I've actually led a couple of people on accidentally. I'm certain that if either of those girls had asked me about my feelings or asked me on a date, things would have been much easier. The only way to the truth is through the man who knows the answer.
