Some people would plant a fist in your face if you spoke up too loudly, others would cry. Whether he will forgive you is completely up to him, his personality, his mood, how extreme and unexpected the situation was and much more.
You can't know what he will do, say or think. You can apologize and ask him to forgive you.

I have a guy friend who lets his wife do and say whatever to him and as long as he can talk about it later he's good.
