Why is my ex boyfriend suddenly talking a lot to this guy who has a crush on me?

So my ex boyfriend left me for his ex crush almost 7 months ago. I’ve been respectful of his decision though he lied and did me wrong. I did not want to hold any grudges on him or his ex crush (who by the way super manipulative). They aren’t even together, she just likes to keep an arms of guys around her chasing. She basically kept texting and talking to him after she found out we were dating and my ex went right back to try again with her. I don’t care cause any sane person would know who is better. Anyway, this other guy who is in the same friends circle as my ex has been texting me a lot and we’ve grown quite close. Recently, my ex has been talking to him a lot and way more than before. Commenting on all his pictures and asking to hang out. He usually doesn’t even do this with his own friends this much. Is something up?

I don't know all your players honey, and your convoluted story is beyond confusing.
The bottom line is this - CHOOSE which one of them you WANT, and make THAT happen. Quit worrying about what everybody is doing or not doing.
