I have liked this guy for a couple of months now and he is always very flirty with me - I’m the only girl he talks to in class and we talk a lot, he stares at me, tries to be really close to me, smiles when we talk, tries to make me laugh, etc. Im not sure he actually realizes I like him though.
Anyway, we were texting the other day and he randomly asked if I knew who he likes. I was hoping he was about to say me, but he made me guess and it’s another girl in class. He asked that I not tell anyone. He rarely speaks to her and even seems annoyed with her at times. He said he’s heard she likes him and that he’s liked her for a week. I’m not friends with this girl. I asked if he was going to ask her out and he said maybe.
Why would he be so flirty with me and give me all of this attention as if he likes me to then confide in me that he likes someone else?
