Why does he act like he doesn't want me to do something for him, while actually he wants?

He is a sport guy and he has many tournaments of his sport. Many times I went to cheer for him but he never asked me by himself. It's only me who offer to do it. And for this time another tournament, he just told me about it. When I said I would love to cheer for him, his act showed obviously that he was glad but he didn't say it. But when I said that I couldn't go within this month because I'm busy but I will next month. His act showed that he's little disappointed but he act like he feel nothing and act like he didn't ask me to but it's me who want to. Why did he act like this? Because men are too proud to show about their feelings? How do you think?

I think he wants you there because all men like to be cheered on. But, I think he feels funny asking you to come there and do it because, some women don't like to sit there and watch. But, some really do like to go and watch.

Some men are to macho to show anything because that is way most men are raised. To take your lumps and don't cry about them. Don't run from a fight and things like that. Getting some men to open up about feelings is nearly impossible. So don't take it for more then it is.. he is happy when you go and unhappy when you cant. That looks like a good start to opening up those feelings. =D You could say.. Do you want me to go and cheer for you? Because, if you don't ask I won't go. Things like that to give him room to make you feel wanted there without making him open all the way. Because, he might just need some encouragement to start asking more and more.
