Guys, tell me how you’ve tried to make a woman you like jealous?

I did not try, I succeeded... lol. And yes it was childish, but I was a teen (and 20 years old) so I was more immature.

All I would do is to spend more time or hang out with a girl that I knew she liked me or had a little crush on me (but without flirting with her nor leading her on because that would be truly a dick move) and just with that hanging out with her, having a laugh or interesting conversation. And as soon as the girls I liked saw me with them, they got a little (or a lot actually) jealous of that, the attention and fun I would be enjoying with someone they knew had an interest on me.

And in my defense... the girls I liked tried to make me jealous first, I did not start this. I just responded in a similar manner, and I did it because I got jealous too... lmao.

A guy just did this to me and it actually pushed me even further away. Like I was hurt and made me want to connect with him even less

Well... I have to say that the girl I liked and myself, we did this a couple of times to each other and those first time it was "fine" but then I did it again and then yes, she got really upset with me.

We were friends first actually, that's why the first time were "not so a big deal" since we were friends, and things were uncertain about us trying for some more maybe. But she got upset, and the real reason why she got upset is that I was playing games too much, although she started it yes.

But her reason was simple, she just wanted me to be the one coming forward and just tell her " Yes, I feel for you and I want more with you" she just didn't want to be the one saying it. My intention was never to hurt her nor make her upset, I just played along a stupid game. After that time she got upset, I just stopped the games and instead I just got more serious about things, and long story short, we became a couple for the next five years or so.

So, I don't know about the circumstances in your case... and I don't know where the two of you stand exactly but... if he's trying to make jealous or if he made you jealous inadvertently, maybe, the motivation is not to hurt you or make you upset but it could be something else, or there are other, more reasons, so it would be a good idea to see this as a part of a whole, a bigger scenario in the scheme of things... or maybe he's just being childish and a bit immature like I was, back then.

Yup. I have no idea why people make things so difficult for themselves- if you're interested, show you're interested and if she isn't, move on to someone who is.
