But if you think about it, he was probably salty because you didn't want to spend time with him at some stupid party. He's just trying to turn it around on you Instead of being sad that you didn't want to hang out with him.

He is not a good match for you then. You need to be comfortable with who you are when you are around him. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with not liking parties or hanging out too much with other people. Some people tend to be more introverted and others are more extroverted. Nothing is wrong with being either of these two things.
