Was my behavior clingy? Would it turn you off?

I invited a guy to hangout with me and my friends. He came out but I think I became overly available that night. I kept initiating conversation with him and following him around because he didn't know any of my friends. The next time I invited him, he didn't respond. If a girl kept initiating conversation with you at a group hangout, would it appear too clingy? Would that turn you off?

It would but if you invite him to a group thing and then your only focused on him then its more of a set up. Its awkward enough being the odd one out but then you add forced interaction with just one person can be some what clingy. If you had introduced him to others and brought up similar interests him and others shared and let the conversation take off naturally and intervened here and there then ya the natural setting wouldn't be so clingy.

I would yes but if its the 2 of us. Dont know how long you 2 have been together but group things early on is tough because your just understanding the person then you have to meet their friends and present yourself in a different manner. its a possibility or maybe they have social anxiety and new groups just aren't for then

Well yes but its sorta. lot to explain in a single thread haha. Some settings are just easy to relax in and be yourself when its just the 2 of you.

Ok. He texted me back finally and said he had to get his phone fixed, thats why he had been vacant. All I said was "its all good." Is that a text that he can respond to?

Its hard to tell since were not there. But it sounds like you may have been overly available yeah.
Maybe he just isn't all that interested though for other reasons. Its hard to tell.

Depends on if i like her as a friend or have a interest in her.
For example if a guy invited me to hang out and i thought he was kinda weird. Ut nice i may not really make an effort to hang out again and no big deal.
If a girl did this i may or may not hang out again. He could be talking to someone else or maybe he's just busy. I would be patient and see what happens. Dont spam him and give him some space for a couple or few weeks and then message him again. Maybe he will message u before then.
