Tough on the outside, soft on the inside?

This question randomly got in my mind : ]

Have you met someone (opposite gender) who acts all tough like he or she doesn't care that much about the world but once you got to hang out and know the person well, you find out he/she is really a softie on the inside? What do you think about these kind of people? : ]

Yes, I know a couple of guys like that

One guy seems tough and appears emotionally cold.

But he actually cares for people and the world, just finds it hard expressing some of those emotions. Also, turns out he's VERY charming and has a good sense of humour. Haha. :)

Even though he judges everyone and appears not to care what anyone thinks, I reckon he still cares what people think of him and feels he's being judged sometimes. When I compliment him, he ignores it/denies it...But I know he appreciates it because he has a twinkle in his eyes or something, lol. I think he's a really nice guy just I think he feels misunderstood sometimes or feels no need to express some of those emotions outwardly so appears macho man lol.

The other guy appears to be the bad boy in class, not a bother on him when it comes to expressing himself lol, the one who always gets in trouble with teachers, the one everyone knows for breaking the rules and not conforming to anything. Haha :). You expect him to be a real d***head. But when you get to know him and you're one of his friends, he's completely the opposite. He's kind, affectionate, talkative and also VERY charming lol.

I love both kinds. haha. :)

well I'm actually like that,i don't like showing people how I feel but I have my own reasons why I do it.

i think its an advantage to me in many ways becaause I have been really hurt before and I'm kinda looking out for myself.

most girls I know hate it,but when I saw the comments under that's really cool cuss a lot of girls think its a turn off they say I'm "faking" it but that's just how I am now..due to some mistakes in the past</3
