Respect is earned, it isn't something you are entitled to, so I won't say that men should just treat other men with better respect, it depends on the guy and how they act towards you, respect is a back and forth thing, you have a lot more chance being respected by someone if you respect them, other ways get more respect can also be the way you present yourself, I mean this in a way that some guys who don't even know some random guy may respect him because of how he presents himself in society and his actions that are commendable, something that makes other guys look up to this unknown person just for their actions and appearance even though they have not had a one to one conversation.

But no, it is not a thing that is just expected, you need to earn that stuff my dude, it goes the same for respect towards women too, it is earned by your actions and personality, not something entitled to.

Just to finish off, I have never called any guy a King, that is the weirdest thing to do, why would I give a guy a royal status just because he is a guy and I have some respect for him? Plus, if every guy respected each other in one area... they would all be kings... which makes no damn sense... -___-

Here is one scenario that pisses me off about how us guys treat each other:

Guy 1 (who likes Girl 1) tries approaching her and treating her nice. But he’s socially awkward. She gives him wishy washy rejection but friendzones him. Meanwhile she is trash talking him behind his back and acting two faced. Guy 2 overhears her saying this. This including calling Guy 1 “a creep”

Guy 2 (usually a prick) mocks Guy 1 and supports Girl 1’s bullshit just to impress her so he can get laid. But Guy 2 knows Guy 1 is harmless but still he doesn’t mind throwing a brother under the bus to get laid.

THAT bullshit needs to stop.

It isn't a gender thing,

It is mostly a brain/head size (cerebral head, not penile) thing - those with similar size brains I easily get along with.
Very few have larger heads, I get along even better with them, certainly in person.

The smaller heads, aren't kings at all, but I see no reason to demean. If someone is a greedy bird brain bully, they should be put in their rightful place - typically a glance from me is enough. Why others let those people terrorise them, I never understood - maybe some guilt, maybe inability, really could not tell you.

Yes they should treat each other respect but the only king I know is Jesus! You guys sound dumb AF calling each other king and queen! Something younger people don't understand and especially non-American younger people is that sometimes we give each other a hard time because that's how we are, some of us call it busting chops. I will tease the crap out of my male friends and vice versa. I see all these gamers crying about can't we all get along? Personally I love the rivalry between Xbox and PlayStation! Well except for some inmature teens. I think most men treat each other better then women treat each other. Sure we don't compliment each other much, and make a bit of fun out of oit daily life. It why we don't get offended that easily and people can joke about men all the time. But don't you dare joke about anything female.

It'd certainly be nice. People will say "respect is earned", and that's true, but there's a base level of respect given to those who haven't earned a higher position yet. I think that base level ought to be higher.

If you are talking about friends, then respect is very irrelevant to me. We have a kind of relationship that we can enjoy being assholes to each other. They know I love them and I know they do too so it doesn't matter. Generally I think we should be respectable to everyone.
