So I should have posted this beforehand but we were joking around and I ended up calling him a butthead and he called me one as well after that I said so? apparently you like it. And after that he responded with that's because you're mine, your my butthead and I claimed you.

So I managed to get an answer out of him today completely blew me away. He said hed claim me as in seek out a relationship with me.

First of all, there is no such thing as guys and girls being 'best friends' unless you are five years old. Second, your 'best friend' seems to think he owns you, you know just like a pair of shoes. Try getting a boyfriend and see how he acts. He is an idiot who has zero respect for you if he is going to refer to you like some object on his bookshelf. The question should be: why are you allowing yourself to be treated like some third class citizen?

I've had a boyfriend before and he's extremely respectful of the relationship. he's never been disrespectful towards me in anyway nor is their history to suggest he's treated me like an object.

Second woman and men can be friends and they can be considered best friends. Your bestfriends are who you consider to be your inner circle.

It's actually pretty worrying, I wouldn't let anyone claim I'm ''theirs'' like that.
Ask him for some explanation and press for them, he can't just say those things and shirk from explaining himself.
