I usually ask if she needs my help first. I can do the dishes myself and I can cook and clean because for me that are basic skills at least every guy should have too. I often go workout or go for a run so I do something of worth for my health. I wouldn´t go fishing because it´s not that easy where I come from and I think it´s a boring activity. For me it´s something to be grateful for if a woman cleans the house and takes time doing so, so I sometimes bring home flowers if I find some in nature that I consider beautiful.
I think that men take their women for granted, I truly admire the dedication women have to maintaining a home clean. I do the dishes and the laundry including folding the laundry. And it feels like it never ends. But she works from home, cleans the house, cooks, and due this pandemic has become my sons second teacher and he is Autistic. I used to complain about not having enough sex and i have learned to understand that its not about me. Her stress levels have skyrocketed and I don't know how she maintains it. I work nights and feel overwhelmed but she keeps on going..

No they don't pile up I do all that what kind of work is it well damn now I know why I should have by the house, so I wouldn't have to do all that stuff be honest with you doesn't bother me at all. And somebody's got to do it and I'm the only person here so I guess I'm going to have to do it LOL
That's so true. I know how much my little woman loves a neat and clean home. The last thing she wants is me getting in the way when she's doing what she loves. So I might slip out and go to the store for a soft drink, and maybe stop by the park to drink it and smoke my pipe. After a while, I'll stop by the mailbox on the way home. She's always pleased when I go to the trouble of picking up the mail and saving her a trip. But that's the kind of helpful guy I am. We're a team.
I had problems with this in my past relationships when I was just playing on my laptop, and eventually ended up in her way, but as I matured and get more experience/ understanding how a healthy relationship works, I picked up road cycling as a get out of her way activity.

I never have "nothing to do", between a house and a business and a family who constantly needs things, I've always got a project. Right now, I'm re-painting all of the doors and door frames in the house, 2 per weekend. This is my last weekend, and then I will be installing some in-ceiling lights.
