Guy I went on a date with asked me if I want to hang out again sometime and suggested for me invite other people. Is he friendzoning me?

The last time we hungout he got confronted by my mom because we were in his car and my mom didn't allow me to hangout with guys alone. (Now she does). He and I are just friends and I never verbally expressed that I like him, except for slight touches on his arm and asking him to hangout with me. He called me today to say he wanted to check how I was doing, if I was still in trouble. He suggested we hangout again and I can invite others. I asked who he has in mind for me to invite. He suggested I bring my sister. When we first met, he would play soccer with me and my sister. He would show interest in BOTH me and her. Why would he suggest I bring her this time?

Maybe he want to introduce you to his friends and ask them. what they think about you. I'd just go ahead and ask him if he is interested in a friendship or more, the question is what you expect or want, does he know your thoughts? It's a good sign, that it seems that he want to spend time with you again in my opinion, at least he asked you.

I guess it was a good sign, about hanging out. It's hard to decipher if he just wants to be friends. He mentioned how he doesn't mind being a thirdwheel. That made me think he wouldn't mind if I were on a date with another guy and he were a thirdwheel. I guess I'll just have to find out, he mentioned that he wants to play a sport with me anf my friends this weekend. I plan to play it cool anf talk to my friends. My sister will be there. 'll see if he decides to approach me or my sister. I'll give him room to choose
