They're unattractive, in my opinion. Insecure women trying to act like Alpha Males and compensate for their insecurities by acting tough. And while I was never a cop, I did executive protection, music security, and bouncer work for several years.
Almost every female I worked with had a sh*tty attitude. Seriously on some "RESPECT ME!" type sh*t. Especially the little girls. The ones who were 5'9" and 5'10" were bad, but the ones who were 5'6" or 5'3" were the worst. It's funny because people can tell you're insecure and trying too hard.
There was only one woman who I respected while working those jobs and she was ex Special Forces or some sh*t. Blonde, cute face, and was only 5'6" too, so not even a big girl. She always remained calm and respectful and because of this, no one f*cked with her. While the ones who act like chicken hawks always came off like bitches. Both the angry female and cowardly kind of "bitches."
So no, females in uniform are a turn off, as are any masculine women.

I think that women in uniform look great. Hats... it's all about the hats!
I used to sell uniforms to first responders and had lots of female customers. Some looked better than others.
Some like them, others simply see a woman and that's really it. As for me well never really cared
