so one of my guy friends (whom i have a crush on) was stroking my hair while i was lying on the bed with my eyes closed (i was half asleep and drunk). could that mean he likes me or could it just be platonic? considering the fact that we aren't that close i mean we've known each other since forever but still.
and later we were lying down real close beside each other and our bodies were touching and i could feel his heart beating so fast and he was taking very frequent breaths.

am i reading too much into this? would you stroke a girl's hair if you aren't into her?

Well the answer is no. A man won't touch a woman anywhere and certainly won't stroke her hair if he doesn't like her romantically. At least to a good extent he must like her and see her that way.

If a man only sees her as a friend then he will maintain his physical boundaries and will only be nice. Him stroking your hair means he sees you more than just friends. He surely likes you.

But I think I should clarify the lying together part, we weren't exactly facing each other- a nother one of our friends was playing the guitar so we were just lying on the sofa chilling and our sides were pressed together.

And about the hair stroking thing, he just stroked my hair like twice and said that I had had a lot to drink.

Another thing that might add to this- the top that I was wearing had got all wet because my friends were making me drink lime water to sober up. So he told one of my girl friends to help me get changed into something else.
He also swatted away a guy's hand away from me when I was asleep (saw this in a video that my friend had filmed).

So could it just be him being a gentleman? Or was he being protective cause he likes me?
