Indian are actually mixed between Iranian farmer steppe hunter gather East Eurasian and ancient Indian hunter gather. Some ethnicity just have some component more like Kashmiri have steppe more this is why pale skin is common among them and North East have East Eurasian more. but all ethnicity in india have these four component.

I forget posted example of Indian woman with high Indian hunter gather DNA. Well usually dark skin woman have it more through sometimes only skin color is dark while facial features look more like Iranian steppe or East Eurasian. mindy kaling have high Indian hunter gather based on looks.

The only guys I've ever seen say Indian women are ugly, are Indian men who are obsessed with western women because they think western women are easy and sexually uninhibited.

Indian women are not ugly. At worst, the very worst, they may be prone to facial hair later in life when their oestrogen level collapses. Indian women tend to have dark noticeable hair. On a more minor level, they are often demure and lack confidence, which some people find appealing, and some do not. (Some men prefer confident women.)
