When do I tell a guy (who I am doing a group project at university with) that I have a boyfriend?

I don't know him well at all, we don't talk outside of university. I just get the feeling that he's flirting with me sometimes. I don't flirt back at all, and I don't know if it's just me reading too much into it. I just feel weird suddenly being like "oh by the way, I have a boyfriend"... When do you think it would be the time?

When ever you want, though it might just make award tension. I'm sure he's just trying to just keep a positive mental attitude and just chat. We all have been in pandemic quarantine I think he just sees it as a time to chat to another human being. there's a stunning amount of guys who aren't interested anyways in dating that just enjoy chatting. So it could just be he's desperate just to chat and not like be alone in his dorm or whatever. Humans are social creatures afterall.

Just treat him as a professional would and make small chat and avoid awkward questions. By simply telling him that its like a little too personal. And we are just classmates XD. Lets keep this like professional don't want any rumors starting up.

You should be blunt about it. If you don't want to hurt him. Just mention you are going somewhere with your boyfriend after you are done with business for the day.
