My girl friend knows my boyfriend's girl friend. He has told me about her briefly. I haven't said to him that my friend told me about their friendship and that they met on happn (I kinda assume he knows this). His friend told my friend that he had mentioned something about me to her. I am totally okay with them being friends, but should I tell my boyfriend that my friend told me something he said about me to his friend? I want to be open, but I don't know if his friend would want him to know she told my friend about something he said about me. Ugh, I don't know if I should leave it be or not.

What did your friend tell you?
That my boyfriend had been open about our physical relationship; that we did something the first date. I personally do not care if he tells someone or not, but would he care if I knew about this?
I suggest asking him.
The problem is that my friend would rather not have me telling what he said, bc he don't know that his friend told my friend about this. It's difficult for me to know what to do. Would you personally prefer someone telling you they knew something like this / Would you tell your s/o?

I have come to the conclusion that I will tell him I know he mentioned me to his friend, bc my friend knows he mentioned my name to his friend. So it seems natural for this to have occurred. I do not need to go into details (unless he asks) about what I heard he said, bc it was not a big deal to me anyways.
