There is a guy I have recently became friends with whom I have noticed and caught staring at me from afar, we even sometimes lock eyes... but when we are in close proximity in a group setting, he avoids eye contact the entire time. He will stare at my friend the entire time and it is like I do not exist. I don't know why it bothers me, but it makes me feel like he maybe isn't my friend because he doesn't acknowledge me? Or the fact he stares from a distance is because I look weird? Should I try to pursue a friendship with him or avoid him? Thanks!
