this is a really stupid question but i still want to know: do guys actually hate pointy elbows or it’s just a meme? like, aren’t elbows supposed to be pointy?

That's not something I've ever heard of being a problem, but I could see being uncomfortable if someone's laying atop or reclining against you, and putting weight on their elbows which are pressed against you. I'm not sure what you'd be doing that that would come up in, though, unless it's just cuddling against one another at a weird angle. A simple shifting of position would help.
