Why do so many men get away with being failed adults?

As both of my parents have jobs, I have learned to do all house stuff by myself from childhood from cooking, cleaning to sewing to almost everything and I manage to get high-quality education too. But it's so hard sharing apartments with almost any guy. They oversleep, drink and vomit and never clean up. They leave food everywhere with and messy kitchen. If you tell them to clean, they will most likely shame you for being not so manly or like a girl. Guys in the military are considered highly manly but they do all of their work by themselves while maintaining their jobs.
The worst part is girls like that kind of behavior. I have heard many of their girlfriends saying that they love it and are so excited to live together where they can take care of their guys.

Most people weren't lucky enough to have high-quality parents such as yours. And if you look at Washington, you can see adults in their 60s, 70s, and even 80s who aren't exactly "adults."

It's not about having parents, I have a brother and he does nothing and somehow my parents don't say anything to him and always rely on me.

Plenty of women do the same thing. Check out the sink in their restroom, or the dishes that have old food stuck to them when you are at a woman's place. It isn't exclusive to one gender or the other.

Yes, I have seen it, a girl once called me to ask, how to boil an egg and she was 23. But guys on average are messier.

This so true, i see this way too much. They’re man children, I have too many uncles that get away with not doing any work around the house or any work done in general

Because not everyone comes from the same environment. Your environment affects your adult life

I hardly think so, I have a brother and he does zero work. My parents justify it by saying he's like that (he's 21).

Different experiences in life than you. I also have a brother that way also, and he has been through different scenarios than I have. I am 100% thankful my life didn’t go like my brothers. I’m not trying to justify that behavior at all, but some people handle things differently in life. All you have to do is be thankful that you got the better end of the stick

Dude. I hate that behavior. I was on a class trip, where I had to share a big penthouse with 10 guys and 2 girls and 1 kitchen. You should have seen the kitchen every morning...

That was in school and perhaps everyone was way below 18, it's okay to be a little or more immature when you are young. But it's not that much acceptable when you are 22 or more...

Specialization. Whatever they don't feel like doing they can pay someone else to do.
