What's your thoughts on shy/reserved men?

Let's say a guy likes you, he's great to you but quiet in social situations or is not as genuine with your friends or social circles. He may lie to keep his personal life to himself.

I see a lot of myself in them. Because I was there for years. Also I know the lying comes from a fear of not being good enough for people if you attempt to open up to them. I can't sit here and call them out for it. Because I use to do it as well and know where all of it comes from. Also I know there women out there that deal with the same social issues. It's hard for people that don't have social anxiety to understand.

Basically it can put people in a weird spot. Like it would be easier to get into a yelling match or fight with someone rather then open up to them. Simply because a in a yelling match or a fight emotions take over and your mind tends to take a back set to your emotions or turn off completely. The issue is that your mind is running a million miles an hour in several directions and it can be nearly impossible to get it to stop. Unfortunately when that starts your though processes tends to get overwhelmed with possible negative out comes. So think of several worse case scenarios or negative ends to a movie all playing at once and on fast forward in your mind at once. Because that is pretty much what social anxiety is like.

I mean don't straight up like. You can reserve secrets without lying.

But what I can say for shy/reserved guys is it generally sucks for us with regards to meeting women, due simply to less social exposure and nothing "wrong" with you. But guys are in general more shy and reserved than women in most cases, and I'd say most girls I know find it to be some mix of hot and adorable. It even mysterious. They LOVE a tough but to crack.

Attraction to one doesn't imply lack of attraction to the ither. In the same way, you might love hanging out with the loud party girl, but also super crush on that shy girl you know from class. You might prefer one or the other, but you're attracted to both.

Social people aren't sleeping around more because they are superior or more sexy. It's simply a matter of playing the numbers. And most reserved people would probably their lifestyles to be chaotic, draining, and unstable, anyway. They just want the availability of relationships, but not the drama and baggage that comes with it.
