Me and this guy have been talking for some time now. We talked every day and he’d always call. He told me he really likes me but he’s not looking for a relationship because he has gotten heart broken and is healing from that. Basically, he’s not emotionally ready. Also, we live far apart (5 hours away by car).

I recently stayed at his house for work in his city. He was really kind to me and we hung out, he introduced me to his friends and coworkers. I laid with him and on the last night he told me he loved me. I acted like I was sleeping so I didn’t respond. I left him a gift and a card to thank him for letting me stay. He didn’t notice it until 12 at night when he arrived back home and the thanked me for it and that was it. We stopped talking 3 days ago. I don’t understand anything at all. Nothing.

No, he just “liked” my last message and I never replied to that. He did respond to a funny video I posted with an emoji but I did the same thing he did and “liked it”. No messages.

Ok. If it were me, I'd maybe say something along the lines of "Hey, just wanted to say again how much I enjoyed our time together. Perhaps we can do it again sometime?" and see what comes back, if anything.
