Why would a guy show concern/care for you, spend time with you, and be comfortable sitting close enough to touch you just to tell you that he was going out with another girl?

Well there are girl teases and then there are guy teases. But a tease is a tease.

He probably wanted to hook up, and was seeing if you would be interested in it. Or maybe he just wanted you to know because he is not really into the relationship with the girlfriend... but best to be honest about it than have you find out later. Either way not a good look for a guy.

I think I've made it pretty obvious that I like him. And he's seen me jealous before and usually pays more attention to me when it happens or will explain his behavior so there's no way he's not aware that I like him.
