I knew a guy who had a theory that which side of your pants you put on first was based on which way your penis naturally fell. He was FASCINATED by me, since 1. I didn't back away when he started saying as much, and 2. I put my pants on both legs at once (starting from a sitting position and elevating them, sliding the pants on and lifting them as I stand; when I first heard the phrase "[someone] puts his pants on one leg at a time", I thought it was an insult). Naturally, my first question was "what about women?". He said "Women don't have penises".
"Right," I said, "so what decides how THEY put their pants on?"
He gave me a look- the "[Namer], how can you possibly be THAT stupid?" look (I HATE that look, by the way) and said "Women don't wear pants!" with such a condescending "Duh!" tone in his voice that for a second, I doubted whether they did, and wondered if I ever HAD seen a woman wearing pants.

It's scary to realize how powerful inflections can be.

You know I didn't actually know the answer to this without actually getting dressed and noting which arm and leg I put in first. Its left first for both arms and legs. It's funny how there are some things in your life that are just so automatic, that you barely even consciously know how you go about doing it.

It goes where it goes? It's not like we intentionally position it in a particular way, most guys don't care - so long as it's not uncomfortable. If you are aware of the difference between "Growers" and "Showers", you will know that for some of us, it can shrink down there quite considerably when not in use.

"Dressing" is really only a "Shower" issue; it only affects "Growers" when they become hard.

I don't want the search history, but it's easily google-able. For Growers such as myself, it can grow and shrink depending on what you see or think. Showers can't shrink theirs, and they grow less, which means they have to "Dress" to fit it in.

To put it into perspective; a Grower can go from "Mini Sausage Roll", to a full size "Sausage Roll"... it's awkward talking about it. Temperature plays a part too; it shrinks when it's cold to decrease the surface area, thus reducing heat loss.

I don't think I've really paid attention when my legs go into their pants it depends on how I'm standing if my b in the way or if I'm on the side of my bed or at the end of my bed my shoes it's the first you I grabbed whether it's a right or left I don't know when I put my shirt on my X goes in first my arms going second when my underwear goes on I don't know what that goes in first probably the right leg whichever one that is lol but I'll figure it out I'll let you know

I dress left because I'm right handed and the opening in my underwear faces right. It's less awkward for me to just slide my right hand in towards the left so my penis and testicles are parked in left pants leg.

For dressing, it's my right sock, right jeans leg and right sleeve first.

Usually to the right but it goes central when it’s hard which is annoying actually because it would be easier to be able to kind of tuck it to the side if that makes sense. Never to the left haha

Yeah it’s uncomfortable as hell. If I could get it to stay to the side that would make it easier but I can’t, so just have to put up and shut up - but yeah - in jeans it can be genuinely painful, no joke

Thanks lovely - I appreciate it. I know there are waaay worse things and women didn’t exactly win the lottery when it came to equality so I feel bad even moaning about it. It’s something I put up with literally every day and have done for the last 20 years. Padding/cup et. etc - believe me I have tried everything over the years but it never really works. It’s a daily issue and I just have to suck it up really. Thankfully I have an understanding girlfriend! Thanks for being nice x

I always dress left first. Especially now I have a fake hip on the left side. I put that leg in my pants first. Shirts and jackets the same because I am left handed.
