Why did he introduced me as his girlfriend when I'm not?

So we're casually knowing each other and both have romantic interest but we dont want to rush out things since we just met for almost a month.

Yesterday I made him a personal drawing that he post on his social media and a lot of people react positively to it, one is his aunt. she asked where she can commission the art and he said it to me. Her aunt doesn't know me and he gave my contact to his aunt, and he said to me that 'my aunt will message you any minute, i introduce you as my girlfriend.'

I don't know what to react and what does it mean? Does he really like me to be his girlfriend or he have diff goal (maybe flexing?).
Why did he introduced me as his girlfriend when I'm not?
