I recently just confessed my feelings to my crush and I’m scared to face him in school, what would you do if you were to be in my position?

Usually, I have my feelings under control but last week I didn’t. Guess what I did? I confessed my feelings on a letter with a poem as I gave it to my crush and went straight home after that. When, I was about to give it to him, my feet completely stopped. Probably, because I feared about something. Although my ride came so I forced/pushed myself to give the paper to him and yeah... That happened-. I honestly felt bad since he was probably confused. I’m alright being rejected and all. Although I still get super nervous about seeing him in class. Especially, knowing what I wrote makes it even worse.

That had to be quite a few feelings you went through all at once: vulnerable, anxious, hopeful, excited, etc.. and "oh shit my ride is here, no backing out now". I think you posted about this already because the poem was the unique part. Here is the thing: guys (especially young men in high school) typically aren't big poetry experts. Is he in a poetry class with you? What I'm driving at is there is a good chance he had no clue what the meaning of your poem was.
