Depends: when one is with his guy friends, he can be much more carefree and open than when he is with his girlfriend. His girl can get upset on an insensitive comment easily as compared to guy friend

I like both, but I have more in common with my friends and don't have to worry about a lot of things I worry about when I'm hanging with her. It's just more relaxed and enjoyable if that makes sense.

Yes. After spending time with girlfriend it becomes like a routine and you compulsory have to follow it, with homies it's like whatever we can do we don't have to follow routine even though we do same thing over and over again like watching games, drinking beers and eating pizza, literally doing nothing at all just be still. With girlfriend/wife it's safest and most comfortable place when she big spooned you in bed and listen to your nonsense, with homies it's more like comfortable environment to share and do stupid things.

I mean it depends greatly on the guy and the girl their dating, but I'm a firm believer that you cannot expect to have everyone of your needs met by a SO so obviously you have to look to friends and family to have the others met. As such it would depend on what need they need met and who they have to go to to provide it. Ex. A lot of women I know don't expect their partner to sit and gossip/ gab with them for extended periods (I'm not trying to be disparaging I just dont know what else to call it) so they go to their friends for it, and if they really need that outlet they are going to prefer time with their friends over their partner in that instance. That said I would say if your partner is constantly prioritizing their friends over you you should move on.

Yes sometimes not generally but sometimes we need our buddies because there is stuff that we talk with them about that would probably ruin or even destroy a relationship.
Therefore we need this time with our male friends to hang out and be later even more willing to be back again with our spouse.
