Why do guys spend more time with their friends than their girlfriend?

My boyfriend and I click just fine when we see each other in person, and he give me good attention when we're around his friends. but when we're not together in person, he doesn't like to call, just text. and we bealy get to see each other because he works crazy hours. and when he does get off work, he prefer spending time with his friends. I don't know if I should be taking this personally or not? he is a good guy, and I know he cares about me, another thing is, we were friends before we decided to date, before, he use to talk a lot more, but now he just seem more quiet, he just cuddles more than he talks. he just more quiet ever since we became a cubble. and it s only been 6 days. what should I make of this?

If it's only been 6 days then you still have NO idea what he's like in this relationship. You can't figure a man out based upon 1 week of behaviors.

You're likely just feeling insecure and you're wishing he would help you feel more secure.

The truth is that you must build and support yourself - that's not his job. As soon as he sense you're being needy, he's going to run for the hills.

If he's busy with friends, then why aren't you? Are you sitting at home waiting for calls? If so then you're in big trouble already.

He's hanging with friends because he's feeling calm and confident. That's what we guys do: when we feel safe we hang out with friends.

If he was worried about losing you he'd call more often, and hang out more often.

Give him time, develop your inner confidence, and learn how to connect with your girlfriends when you're feeling nervous, needy or insecure.
