What is this trend of guys trying to humble hot girls on social media by calling them “mid”?

Right I keep seeing this. Anonymous men on social media commenting under an obviously very attractive woman’s TikTok or picture saying “mid”. I’ve even seen these comments under model’s photos who are obviously not “mid.” Why is this now a thing? Do they not realise how pathetic they look trying to bring down an obviously attractive person’s confidence? Or anyone’s confidence at all?

Not all models are hot. I worked in the industry and lots of them are butt ugly... until makeup and clothes and posing perfect and lighting and photoshop. Yeah half the "hot" tik tok girls are definitely "mid" some even worse.

Not really tbh. When they come in off the street before makeup hair wardrobe you would never even guess they were models most of the time. A truly beautiful woman is stunning with no makeup or effects in plain clothes.

I’m gonna have to agree to disagree. I’ve been modelling Since I was 17, I am now 24. I have a circle of friends who are also models. I actually look better without makeup or just touch-ups, I just don’t suit heavy makeup and I think it looks bad on me

Tbh I was exaggerating when I said they were 10s. Only 10s are Victoria’s Secret angels and 90s supermodels which are really rare. What I meant was attractive women
