My crush knew I liked him. I think even he had slight feelings for me. For a year we didn't speak due to some conflict. Just a month ago he posted a picture. He was looking cute so I commented ❤❤. He replied back with 🥰🥰 before my comment in his insta photo he would give just single non flirty emoticon to guys like 🤝 🤘 💪 🙌and flirty emoticons to girls when I had commented 2 hearts he started replying hearts to other guys as well after that. Does he still have some feelings for me or am I reading too much into it?

Emojis don't mean much even on social media. Most of the time emojis just like text can be misconstrued. His response could be something he usually does or only for people he know. As you said he gives "flirty emojis/emoticons to girls" , so that means all girls?
