Guys, How would you try and show hints or drop signs to a girl you like?

I just asked her out on a date if we were clicking in the convo or just start touching her thigh if she was flirty (I'd reciprocate and escalate). Subtlety isn't my strong point here.

I would always try to be around her or find a reason to talk to her. Not over doing it of course but whenever it seems like the right time

Guys don't do the drop hints thing well like women do. We have caveman hunter brains and it is not in our nature. We are much better and processing reliable information. The sooner you get that, the better off you interaction with men will go.

Well if a girl hugged me and I liked her I would hold her a little longer
but eye contact fs
looking at her when she’s not looking but if she catches my eye quickly look somewhere else
