Guys why can you act mean to a girl for no reason?

A guy I work with was talking to me quite a bit recently and we seemed to be getting along great but now he has became cold distant, mean and somewhat rude and I don’t know why as I haven’t done anything wrong?

Why do some guys act like this?

It's possible he was growing to like you too much so distancing himself to regain self control.

Maybe but doing things like that has an adverse effect and makes me think that the don’t like me so I don’t understand why people do that?

Having said that, there is also the possibility he discovered something about you that turned him off. I guess it could be a number of things.

You either did something to piss him off and didn't realize it (very common), he heard something he didn't like about you, or it's unrelated to you.

well, you know how Girls can be "Bitchy" for no reason? well, the same goes for guys, sometimes even we don't know why... and it isn't our 'time of the month'

Either you wronged him, he is tired of being nice to you, or it’s some weird way of acting as he’s attracted to you.

No not at all, he’s been flirting with me recently and I’ve responded back positively

maybe i’m wrong but maybe he thought he was acting too nice or like lovey dovey at times and the other guys around are like why u acting like a pussy or maybe he just even thought that too himself 🤷‍♂️ i’d do that in high school sometimes and start being more aloof or mean to girls.
