I have. But don’t feel bad. I’m happy.

I’ve never had a partner as I’m bad at socialising. However, I have great communication skills and built a successful business as a lawyer.

I don’t believe there’s a good girl for me. I’ve also been treated quite poorly in the past.

Life is survival of the fittest and I was never the fittest to begin with.

Moreover, I only get noticed now that I’m doing well. I will be used if I date.

I've given up.


After having been cheated on by my past exes and having been blamed for each one as the reason for why they cheated in the first place, and people I say this to tell me that they were probably in the right for cheating on me. That happened 7 years ago.


It wasn't until about 4, almost 5 years ago when I tried to dip my toes in and see if things would work out with someone new. I ended up falsely accused of stalking when our campus was small so we bump into each other constantly, and I didn't have a car so I couldn't have followed her anywhere. Ended up with an ex parte ppo and took her to court to get it changed. She had tried to hire my defense lawyer but couldn't because said lawyer was working for me. I was able to get it changed to a civil temporary restraining order that went away over time hence temporary, and I dropped out of College. That was when I gave up completely.


I still find some girls that come and go extremely attractive, but I tend to avoid them immediately after I realize I'm catching feelings for them. I have to remind myself often that being single is a blessing. Relationships are a curse

Nope. I had dealt with a handful of horrible relationships and abuse, but it didn’t make me give up. I still believed in love and happiness in relationship, I just needed to set more boundaries and just be confident.


I never wanted to give up on true, happy, healthy love. I knew that one day I’d eventually find it. And, I did. I found my boyfriend. He was like the pot of gold, at the end of the rainbow, after a horrible rainstorm. He is a blessing. I couldn’t be happier in my relationship and I am so glad I didn’t give up.


Finding love isn’t impossible, but it’s difficult for some people, and I understand that. Sometimes it takes patience and time, sometimes it takes motivation and ambition.

I've never really searched... I met people I became interested in, dated, realised that it wasn’t really for me and then moved on with life. so am I actively searching for "love"? no, I will never do that. will I say no if I find someone who piques my interest? who know, maybe, maybe not lol

No. I didn’t give up and ended up meeting the most wonderful man. I took a shot and asked him to lunch. All this time later and we are engaged.
