Me and my ex went somewhere. We had a great time but he would poke my nipples. I said it was fine because I didn't care about poking if no one was looking.
However later that night me and him were in his friends car and he started groping other places including throwing his hands down my skirt and rubbing. Uncomfortable, I pulled his hand off and told his friend to take me back home.
He apologized over text for making me uncomfortable and asked if I was mad. I later said I was disappointed in myself for expecting more (because this happened before).
He didn't say anything. 1-2 days later I changed the messenger chat back to its default colors (it originally had a heart theme). I did this to 1) signify that im permanently moving on and 2) make sure any guys looking through my phone wouldn't get the wrong message.
Then the argument began. In short:
- He said I didn't need to be like that
- I then said I didn't want guys to get the wrong message and I can do what I want considering his behavior, I then said bye
- He said I permitted him to do that and that I dont need to talk to him if I feel that way
- I told him to review the term consent and then unadd me
- He told me I gave him permission, again
- I said that I didn't give him permission, and that I didn't like his overly sexual behavior anyway
- He told me I gave him permission, again but worded differently
- I clarified what was permission and what wasn't permission
- He said that I did give permission, again, and that he's done
- I said that he doesn't listen
- He claimed thats a lie
- I clarified again, said the situation wasn't even that big of a deal and that I just didn't want to be around because this happened before
- I was typing something else, he blocked me midsentence
Im fully aware that I deserve better and I don't think I even care much that he did block (I didn't even block him back). However part of me does wonder if he'll ever realize later on how wrong he was and apologize. What do you all think?
