Thoughs on a weird dude from my local gym?

we go to the same gym and live in the same city , guess we knew a few of the same people here that be about it.

i keep running into him at my gym lately , he had dated this girl that i knew , she had been a server at a restaurant i went to. maybe he though that i liked her as i talked to her there but i had always wanted to date her best friend not her so perhaps a misunderstanding

think they broke up? although she still has pictures of them together on her social media but i've seen him hit and talk to this other girl at the gym when i was around

she's really hot , i sort of knew her too although don't really talk to her at the gym , she's a cashier at a store i go to. we have talked before , she always notices me at the gym and i check her out a lot too.

anyways he's started to talk to her a lot and hit on her now? but i though he was dating the other girl?

so confused here. which girl does he like? the girlfriend or this other girl? if he's dating that girl why hit on the other girl in front of me , is he doing it to taunt me as he knows i like her and perhaps bitter at me for talking to the other girl when they were dating

i'd like to talk to his former or current? girlfriend and figure out whats going on but i've yet to see her , i'm sure she'd be very upset to learn what he's actually like when she is not around

anything? i'm so confused not sure this makes any sense

Not really sure what it has to do with you really.

if you like a girl and want to ask her for a date do it.

if a guy has a girlfriend and chats to other girls then it’s only between him and girl he is dating.

well i knew the girl he was supposedly dating , she's definitely not the type who would of been open to that sort of behaviour , she was under the impression he was her boyfriend not some sort of playa who apparenlty wants other girls from same gym too

i'm not even sure if there still actually dating or not , he acts like its over but she never took his pictures down , maybe she was slow to move on?

He sounds competitive and only wants what another man wants. Maybe he thinks it will make him a man's man. Just keep it simple like a grunt or 'sup when you see him.

perhaps he just wants the more in demand girls and feels if he can get one he's more important or manly? we've never really talked at the gym

i should try and play him , talk to some girl i don't like at the gym and see if the same pattern of behaviour is directed towards her too. although i'm not the type to want to intentionally hurt someone by not really being interested but only real test to see if its about these 2 girls or any girl i show any interest in there

we need to test him and his friends at that gym and it might be the only way to find out for sure if its really about a specific girl or if he's targeting anyone i showed interest in. if he suddenly starts talking to some girl he ignored previously after he saw me talk to her we know what this is really about
could perhaps warn the girl about him or let her on to what might be going on with him

the reality is i'm eventually going to talk to other girls at this gym so either way we'll find out if this similar pattern of behaviour continues or if it was just about those other 2 girls

i agree trying to test him with a random might present issues but either way i'm going to eventually talk to other people so we'll see what happens next
