Is it normal to have a Men road trip?

Is it normal for 2 guys to take a road trip for nights together? Sleep in the same room together? I know it's nothing wrong with hanging out but spending nights seem weird. I have a guy friend said he and his homeboy was headed to New Orleans said they was staying the night as well as probably an additional night. He didn't give the reason maybe due to the guy was around and I didn't ask at that time he did ask me if I come to see him drive out of town I said cool he said he call me when they got. there hours late I text asking was he ok and what he was doing he said headed to bourbon street. I said let me know want me to come. I never heard anything back

Well while I love road trips, I wouldn't do something like this, this is kinda sus. I mean I would go on a road trip with a guy friend and even stay a night. But strictly on two beds and at least a bit separated from each other. So I don't know if they are the same or not. have you ever sensed he is gay or something?

Yea he always ghost me. But he kept calling me to come but I decided this Tim's I wasn't giving in because for months he ghost me and the trip wasn't about he and I he just decided to invite me when I was in same state. He has a girlfriend but he not happy don't seem like because he always cheats but lately he hangs with guys and run to New Orleans
