OK, I know I MUST answer this one, because I've done it. Yep. I am the only girl in a group of eight cousins (my three brothers and four cousins - all boys). And forever it seems like I've tried to do everything they do. So...

I was about seven and we were all out at my uncle's lake and the boys were all bragging about how far they can pee. First - I have to wonder, WHAT DOES THIS MATTER? But, I didn't think about it that deeply back then. All I knew is that they decided they'd have a competition. They drew a line in the sand and all lined up to pee as far as they could. I said I wanted to try, too, and they all laughed at me saying, "You're a GIRL, you can't do this." Well, every time I'd heard that before, it always motivated me to try harder. So, I insisted. They said, OK, and I lined up. I had to pull my shorts and panties down and someone yelled, "GO!"

I placed a solid eighth place.

My oldest bro became my hero when we got near home. He went inside and got another pair of shorts and panties out of my room and brought them to me in the barn. I rinsed the wet ones and left them to dry and snuck them into the house later.

So... my answer as to "how it feels to pee standing up" - wet.

Normal…haha! It's hard to describe because it's all I've ever done since I was potty trained. When my moms potty trained me, they did it sitting down because it was easier. When I grew a bit taller and I could use the toilet, they tried that - but apparently I had terrible aim. They bought me a little urinal and put a bucket under it to catch the excess urine that I sprayed everywhere. To this day, I don't know how I managed to soak the bathmat in pee.
But, back to the point. It's really easy to pee standing up if you've got a penis. If you're curious, you could try a female urinary device; but I've also heard that women have a fairly forward urine stream and you could maybe pull off peeing standing up without a device. In order to do this, you should set up paper towels and toilet paper if you need to clean up. Remember to lift the bottom toilet seat before peeing as this helps with spraying.

Peeing while standing feels the same as while sitting. Although, sitting is a little more relaxing. The actual peeing feels identical. I had a girlfriend that could pee while standing. She used her fingers to open her lips. When she did that it came out in a concentrated stream similar to mine. If it's possible, her aim was even worse than a guys, tho.

Well, truth be told, awkward sometimes, especially in your own place if you have to clean up your own toilet if you miss the center of the bowl. I have to clean my own bathrooms and would be embarrassed as hell if my wife/SO had to clean up after me. (never happen) I sit, like a 'girly man" as Arnold would say.

I’m a postop trans woman so I have experience of peeing with and without a penis. With a penis it’s so much more straightforward of course. It is much like a hose and so long as the stream is strong it’s easy to aim. It’s also easy to clean as just wiggling it will get rid of any drops on the end. Men can “pee anywhere” which makes it sound like they’re marking territory all over the place, but now that I don’t have a penis I do envy their freedom sometimes which I think they take for granted.
