Do you think this guy is making an excuse to back out on me? How would you handle this?

I was excited for this date because we seemed to connect well online, good banter. But he comes up with this message the day before our date and now I feel like he wants to back out. How would you handle this? So far I’m just not saying anything because he hasn’t offered me a solution I don’t know what to say. I feel like if he wants to meet me he will make it happen. Thoughts?
