I liked posts from one of my male friends that he posted 5 days ago. Should I be worried that he will interpret in a different way?

I haven't been in Instagram for some time now and I accidentally entered it today. First posts were from one of my male friends. I liked all of them as I thought it will rude to leave some posts without a like. However they were from 2 and 5 days ago. I am now worried that he will see it as a flirt action but I don't really know. In reality I just saw the photos and liked them cause he my friend.

No it wouldn't lol. Its totally normal. You may see some posts on your feed entirely late. He wouldn't take it in some other way, unless he's into you

We (boys) all like each other's posts as a common courtesy. I don't believe it to be that big of a deal. Liked many of my friends posts who are girls.
I look at the photos objectively. Does not matter who takes it, if the photo is good, I like it.

But I have noticed that liking a photo or a post is a big deal on IG. I have a friend, whose IG I was checking. He explicitly told me to not like one of the girls photos. When I asked why, he said that it sends a different kind of message. There must be something off between them I think. I did not ask further.

So... if you are strictly friends with this guy, then just compliment the photos, like objectively. Not a thing about him in those photos. Photos were good and all such.

It is just that, I want peple to be comfortable in their own life. So, sometimes, I have noticed myself searhing online for the right thing, trying to fit in the problem of the person and then applying my own logic to it and then... writing the opinion.

I believe even one opinion can change a person's perspective.
