My boyfriends ex commented on his Facebook post but it seemed harmless, should I be worried?

My boyfriends ex commented under his post saying “I know we have been distant lately but I love you forever. Me and my daughter, we both love you forever.” I did know when we first got together two years ago he had built a strong relationship with her daughter. It’s not his daughter, when they were together so even when they broke up he kept that relationship with her daughter even when we got together because the little girl grew to see him as her step dad but him and I started spending more and more time together so he stopped being around the little girl as well eventually. Me and him have spent every moment together since we’ve been together and now we have a baby on the way. He’s supportive of me keeping it, he’s very protective and is there for anything I need and is still as loving and affectionate as he was before I was pregnant but now even more so. I’m just afraid that what if he’s tempted to speak to his ex again because of that comment? Sometimes that’s all it takes.

This is a test for you and we all go through it. It's to let you know when you are in a relationship . there is always going to be someone or something that reminds you that . we are all human. And the only person you can really believe in is you
Yourself. It's meant to make us feel something that can be very positive. Or Negative. If it's positive then you understand you can make anyone love you they have to do it on their own. And if you love them you trust and believe in them

If its negative then you start doughting them and yourself that creates problems and thing's never work out. We can't control our partners we can only believe in them. Until they give us reasons not to

I'd feel kind of upset honestly. Like what the hell was she thinking. Did your boyfriend react or comment on what she said? Honestly I'd trust your boyfriend. My therapist taught me to have evidence first before I freak out. And what I mean by that is your boyfriend hasn't done anything... as of now. You could bring it up to his attention or not cause honestly she seems desperate. You need to feel more secure here and I really think you have nothing to worry about. But why are they still friends on social media? But again trust your boyfriend

Yea, he didn’t react or comment so I didn’t say anything to him about it and I won’t. I do trUt him but I also know sometimes all it takes is for a ex to do something as small as comment to temp you into doing something you know you probably shouldn’t but like you said all I can do is continue to trust in him and our relationship and leave it alone.
