Ex boyfriend re-posted pictures of us on Facebook

Long story short: Ex broke up with me after 5 years together 7 weeks ago because he felt the relationship ran it's course. It was an amiable split. We have had friendly conversations since the break up, and even hung out last Saturday to catch up. He said he had a great time meeting up with me and we would do it again soon. So, we've been in LC since the split. The other day, he created a new album on Facebook and put some random pictures of himself in there, but also included 2 couple-y pictures of us from our trip to Key West. After he uploaded them, someone commented on the album saying something like "every time I see your girl, I wonder how the hell you got her." Obviously, she does not know that we broke up, but I would think he would delete that comment. He also deleted some random pictures from his mobile uploads, but kept all of the ones of me in there, including one of me kissing him on the cheek with the caption "she's so beautiful!". Why would he not delete that one, and why re-post old pictures of us? I know it's just Facebook, but it just seems weird to me. I deleted all of our pictures together weeks ago, if I meet someone soon I don't want them to see pics of me and my ex still up. I'm sure I'm looking too far into this, just curious what you guys think.

Also, the last 3 or 4 times that we've talked in the past month he's been keenly interested in what my plans are for the night/weekend, and is always asking who I'm going places with. I told him yesterday that I went horse shopping, and he asked very suspiciously "who did you do THAT with?" It just seems weird to me, and again I think I'm over thinking things, but curious about other opinions.

As much as I want that to be the case, I'm just not sure :/ He has admitted to missing me, he still cares, and I know he's not over it completely. He said he won't be over it for a long time, and won't be ready to date anyone for a long time. I would just think if he was having second thoughts or something, he would come out and say it?Or maybe he put those pictures up to make himself look more desirable standing next to a hot chick? But then there's the picture of me kissing him...i don't know

Just because he misses you and is not over you doesn't mean he wants you back. Sometimes it's better to let go than try again. Maybe he just knows that you two aren't meant to be together, and if you aren't then there is nothing you can do. You just have to move on and date different people. If you are ment to be together you will get back with him, maybe in few days time, maybe in few months or few years time. He is still might have secound thoughts but he probably just thinks that it's just better not to let go.

Pictures of you two probably bring lots of nice memories, and maybe he just wants to have them on his Facebook so he can always remember about them. I personaly think that deleting all picures of you and your ex is really stupid, as these are memories, and in years time all you will have will be memories. There is nothing wrong with meeting someone new and still have pics of your ex on Facebook. I still have pictures of my first boyfriend on Facebook, because I never delete photos from there, and none of the guys I was seeing had a problem with it, and I never have problems with my boyfriends having pics of him and his ex on Facebook.

To me it seems like he can't let go of the past, and is simply not over you yet. He probably really enjoyed the relationship and maybe wishes you two could be back together. or he just can't stand the thought of you seeing anyone else.
