Is it normal that my ex just shared a photo of me and my new partner in his facebook story?

My ex partner shared a photo of me and my new partner on his Facebook story with a caption saying

"You look so happy, congrats 👏 I am happy for you"

I feel so weird though, like, he's crossing a boundary.

Me and him have been friends for about a month now since we broke up.

Should I confront him? Is this normal behavior? Could he still be in love with me? Do I need to cut him off?

An ex is an ex for a very good reason. Most of the time, it is because of character incompatibilities, cheating or lack of understanding.

When a former boyfriend/girlfriend/partner/spouse becomes an ex, then all ties and bridges should be cut unless you have children.

It is not okay to then post pictures and other material on any social media because that makes the cut more difficult even if you separated on good terms. Let the past rest and start anew.

You can tell your ex to remove those pictures because you no longer want to be associated with him.
