Should I ask my ex boyfriend out on a date even if we broke up because he cheated?

I know it sounds crazy and the answer might be very obvious but it's beenalmost 8 months since we broke up and I can't stop thinking about him and giving the relationship another chance
For the record, I stayed no contact for about 6 months after the breakup but then tried sending him a voice message asking about how he has been but he left it unread for about a month and when he saw it he didn't answer
I mean at this point it's very clear that he doesn't wanna talk to me but the thing is I wanna try to get him back so I thought maybe I can call him and ask him to go on a date with me and tell him that they're gonna no expectations just a guy and a girl going out and maybe being friends with benefits and try winning him back step by step I don't know what to do
This is getting crazier
Please I wanna know the pov of a guy in this situation
And girls I wanna know what you think too
Is he gonna think I'm cheap or that I don't value myself?

I think you’re having such a hard time because nothing seemed “wrong”. You were not ending the relationship because it was bad or you weren’t happy, it’s over because he was selfish. That’s a tough pill to swallow so I get how you feel.


Still, I don’t think loneliness or missing him is your cue to cave. After what he’s done he doesn’t deserve to have you reaching out let alone for a date. Makes you look down bad as well. If I were you I’d keep being patient for the right guy, keep focusing on myself and keeping things in perspective as to why you aren’t with that guy.
