Love bombing or True Love?

I'm 36 the guy I met is 32 we met online. Really quickly we connected and it wasn't the usually back and forth reply that took 3 days to receive. I replied back and in the same day he did and we continued talking. Not long after he started opening up about his childhood, his health, living situation, past relationships. He told me that he'd only been with just a few people due to being a "hermit" because of some childhood issues. He said he really didn't start coming out of his shell until 4 years ago even getting his license. We really connected and I'd say probably not two weeks in (before even meeting) he said he loves me. When he told me these things I was just acceptive and understanding and we both explained that we are looking for something long term. We are about 6 weeks into "texting" and I'm about to go meet him in a few days. But, we have already discussed our future and marriage and so on... some of my friends say he's just love bombing that we are moving to fast. But, I'm equally as involved as he is. Could this be going down a path of love bombing?
